Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Surgical Tech to prepare the operating room and surgical team for a variety of procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and efficient workflow. You will set up instruments, assist with scrubbing, and support both the surgical team and anesthesia staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and patient for procedures by applying asepsis principles.
• Set up sterile equipment, instruments, drapes, and solutions; assist with scrubbing and gowning/gloving.
• Assist surgeon and assistants with gowns and gloves.
• Position and drape patient under direction of practitioner.
• Assist with patient comfort and safety measures.
• Assist anesthesia team as needed.
