Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from certified technician program preferred or holds a Practical Nursing license.
• National Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in the Operating Room.
• Assist with transportation of patients to and from the OR.
• Prepare equipment and supplies required for the surgical procedure.
• Demonstrate responsibility to the department and participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality according to hospital standards.
