Rochester Regional Health is seeking an OR Surgical Technologist to join the OR Support Staff at Rochester General Hospital. The role focuses on preparing, organizing, and managing surgical instruments and supplies while maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures.

Schedule : 8 hour shifts, 2 weekend rotations per month, Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, OR 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
On Call : 1-2 shifts per month Saturday and/or Sunday 7a-7p
Specialty services 24/7 on call.
The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role as a key member of the surgical team, serving as the primary scrub technologist during procedures. This individual is responsible for preparing, organizing, and managing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. The Surgical Technologist maintains strict adherence to sterile techniques and demonstrates continuous attention to preserving the integrity of the sterile field throughout each procedure.
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
