Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking an Operating Room Attendant to transport patients and supplies, assist with patient positioning, and help clean the OR between surgeries. You will support the surgical team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring a safe environment and proper infection control.

Responsibilities include stocking, room setup, and handling equipment while working in a high-demand surgical unit on a full-time, onsite night schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Preferred Nursing Assistant course completion.
• Experience in a surgical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, specimens, and supplies between areas.
• Assist with positioning and holding limbs for surgical prep.
• Help with room setup and cleaning between cases.
• Support the surgical team under RN supervision.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized operating rooms.
• Stock supplies and ensure clean scrub sinks and areas.
