Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) in the Jackson, MI area. The role involves direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintaining sterile environments and assisting intra-operative care. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ year OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative patient care and nursing/technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.
