Job summary

Incredible Health in the Washington, DC area is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) for day, night, or mid shifts. This role supports patients before, during, and after surgery in a dynamic hospital setting.

Requirements include ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and 1+ year OR experience. ACLS/PALS are preferred. Benefits include Healthcare coverage, 401K, PTO and Tuition Assistance. Cross training and opportunities at a Level 1/2 trauma center are available.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing required.
• Active RN license required.
• 1+ years OR experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about the procedure and postoperative care.
