Job summary

Responsibilities include using floor care machines, adhering to infection prevention standards, and mentoring teammates on EVS operations in the OR to support patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• 1+ years of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of all surgical areas and OR-related spaces following AORN and infection control standards.
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, and vacuums the Operating Room suite and related rooms.
• Cleans and sanitizes hardware and equipment in the OR environment.
• Operates floor care equipment and uses prescribed floor cleaning/restoring solutions.
• Reports repairs needed to OR supervisory personnel and maintains universal precautions.
