Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital or medical setting, is a plus.
• Willingness to complete training for surgical area cleaning.
• Ability to follow safety, infection prevention, and cleaning protocols precisely.
• Strong reading and writing skills to follow instructions and document work.

Responsibilities

• Clean operating rooms and surgical areas after procedures to maintain sterile environments.
• Operate professional cleaning equipment and use cleaners appropriate for each surface.
• Maintain fresh, clean scents and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with Environmental Services, Infection Prevention, and OR staff as needed.
• Occasionally supervise a small crew and stay on track with tasks.
