Truman Medical Centers seeks an Environmental Services Operating Room Technician to maintain sterile, safe surgical spaces. You will use vacuums, scrubbers, and polishers with careful attention to surfaces and cleaners, upholding infection prevention standards.

Training will be provided for surgical area cleaning, and you may lead a small crew when needed. This full-time role in Kansas City offers a fast-paced environment, teamwork with OR staff, and a mission-driven workplace focused on patient

Formación

• This role requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital or medical setting, is a plus.
• Willingness to complete training for surgical area cleaning.
• Ability to follow safety, infection prevention, and cleaning protocols precisely.
• Strong reading and writing skills to follow instructions and document work.

Responsabilidades

• Clean operating rooms and surgical areas after procedures to maintain sterile environments.
• Operate professional cleaning equipment and use cleaners appropriate for each surface.
• Maintain fresh, clean scents and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with Environmental Services, Infection Prevention, and OR staff as needed.
• Occasionally supervise a small crew and stay on track with tasks.
