Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ is seeking a part-time on-site Transport Technician to provide basic care services, transport patients and specimens, and assist with OR set-ups during 20 hours per week shift. Responsibilities include cleaning, stock management, and ensuring patient safety through proper handling of equipment.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification; healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes OR suite cleaning for turnover and cleans common areas.
• Cleans and stores equipment after cases.
• Inspects and returns equipment; notes safety issues.
• Transports and handles essential equipment.
• Maintains environment of care including scrub sinks and hallways.
• Assists with transferring and positioning patients.
• Transports specimens and checks transport log.
• Assists in OR setup and stock management.
• Stocks shelves and supplies daily.
