Job summary

CharterCARE Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI seeks a Technician for full-time 2nd shift (1:00 pm - 9:30 pm). This role is responsible for distribution and storage of materials delivered to the operating room (OR) inventory and assembling OR case carts per physician preference lists.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, good math skills, basic computer knowledge, CSR certification, and about one year of related experience with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High School education optional but helpful; good math skills and basic computer knowledge are desirable.
• CSR certification is required.
• One year of experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training, or 9–12 months on the job training to be proficient.
• Excellent communications skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and store materials delivered to the operating room (OR) inventory.
• Assemble OR case carts per physician preference lists.
• Replenish crash carts and intubation boxes.
• Manage stock for common sets.
