Hartford HealthCare, Backus Hospital, is seeking a Perioperative Clinical Supply Technician to maintain supply and data within the Clinical Supply Chain. You will liaison with Central Supply and Operating Rooms, perform counts, and support replenishment throughout the day.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and about one year of inventory management experience in a storeroom or warehouse setting.

Responsabilidades

• Liaison between Central Supply and Operating Rooms for replenishment, contamination issues, missing items, and reprocessing. Includes transporting carts/equipment and vendor trays as needed.
• Daily/weekly cycle counts using Tecsys handheld scanners and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Review daily orders and cancel or express issue lines on pick lists/supply orders as required.
• Maintain local inventory data and accurate bar code labeling in storerooms and clinical areas.
• Address cancelled backorders from automated supply cabinet orders and fill/express issue lines on receipt of goods.
• Assist Supply Chain Operations/Receiving staff with receiving issues and discrepancies and resolve match exceptions.
• Respond to internal questions regarding storeroom items, item numbers, and requisitions.

Responsibilities

The Perioperative Clinical Supply Technician is responsible for the hands-on maintenance of supply and data within the Clinical Supply Chain. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to:

• Liaison between Central Supply and Operating Rooms (ORs) (for contaminations, missing items, reprocessing), supporting room/location level replenishment as standard work as well as ad hoc requests throughout the day as well as transporting carts/equipment from storage areas to rooms, and transport of vendor trays from Central Supply to OR and back
• Responsible for daily/weekly cycle counts using Tecsys handheld scanners and for maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Reviews daily orders and expresses issue and/or cancels any lines as required to the pick lists/supply orders.
• Partners with system inventory analyst to manage and maintain local inventory data including maintenance of accurate bar code labeling of all items in storerooms and clinical areas.
• Reviews cancelled backorders from automated supply cabinet orders and fills / express issue any lines as applicable on receipt of goods.
• Assists Supply Chain Operations/Receiving staff with receiving issues and discrepancies for the facility including investigation and support of resolution of match exceptions due to missed receipts.
• Resolves questions from internal customers regarding storeroom items. Resolves item number and requisition concerns for storeroom items.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
