Tufts Medicine is seeking a Central Processing/Sterile Processing technician to manage case carts and track instrument flow within the OR. You will coordinate with CPD and the OR team to ensure timely availability of supplies and instruments for scheduled cases.

The role requires completion of a Central Processing program, CPD experience, and CRCST/CBSPD certification, with attention to detail and teamwork emphasized in daily duties.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified Central Processing program.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification.
• Three years CPD/OR or supply chain experience.

Responsabilidades

• Review OR schedule for next day and pick required supplies and instruments.
• Prepare case carts and resolve conflicts with OR team.
• Ensure next-day case readiness and timely turnover of instrumentation.
• Maintain instrument tracking, update preference cards, and logs.
• Coordinate with CPD and OR to ensure resources are available.
