Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA seeks a Supply Chain Technician to manage requisitioning, stocking and distribution of supplies for procedural departments including the OR. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of healthcare supply experience in hospital procedural environment.
• Able to be trained on the use of an electric pallet jack.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and adjust Kanban PAR levels and address shortages.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Kanban program through the Daily Management System (DMS).
• Build surgical case carts according to requisitions and surgeon preferences.
• Pull supplies and instrumentation for assigned cases with accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sterile Processing, OR staff and inventory team to obtain needed items.
• Perform deficit lists for TF cases and rapid turnover events.
