Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA, seeks a Materials Management leader to oversee daily logistics and distribution for Procedural areas, including OR/Cath Lab inventory, case cart picking, and PAR level management.

You will develop budgets, policies, and lean improvements, supervise staff, collaborate with Purchasing and Clinical leaders, and ensure timely supplies while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in organizing and optimizing a supply chain system.
• Ability to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack.
• Strong knowledge of inventory methodology, distribution methodologies, and sourcing options.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ordering of all distribution through automated and manual supply replenishment systems.
• Maintains Kanban program and perpetual inventory including replenishment, par levels, backorders, returns and expired/damaged product processes.
• Monitors inventory levels and analyzes data to optimize replenishment.
• Communicates changes to PAR levels with Procedural Nursing and collaborates with Par Optimization and Data Analysis teams.
• Leads Lean initiatives and improves operational efficiency in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Recruits, trains, and develops staff; supports budgeting and performance evaluations.
