Veterans Health Administration in Salisbury, NC seeks an Advanced Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing) to support the SPS department. The role covers communication with OR staff, tray assembly and sterilization, and ensuring reprocessed medical equipment is ready for use.

The incumbent will follow IFU's and SOPs, supervise decontamination workflows, and maintain inventory and readiness for daily surgeries. This is a federal position with a posted pay range and standard daytime schedule.

Qualificações

• Education must be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions.
• If using foreign education, a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with the transcript is required for credit.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with OR staff to ensure trays and instruments are available for daily surgeries.
• Assemble, package and sterilize trays and sets following Manufacturer's Instructions for Use and SOPs.
• Decontaminate, inspect and prepare reusable medical equipment for use.
• Monitor sterilizer operation and adherence to IFU parameters; document results.
