Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 3 years prior scrub experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up for scheduled cases with needed supplies.
• Assist with patient transport to operating room and positioning.
• Account for instruments and supplies used during procedures.

Skills

Ability to follow strict sterile technique

Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Completion of Surgical Technology program or relevant experience
