Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Salt Lake City is looking for a Surgical Technician to assist with surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing support to the surgical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining instruments and supplies, along with knowledge of medical terminology and communication skills. This is a PRN position requiring availability for at least one shift per month. A commitment to patient-focused care and a valid O.R. Technician certification are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited O.R. Technician program required.
• Two years of surgical technician experience preferred.
• Must obtain RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Check and prepare supplies and instruments for surgeries.
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgeons.
• Perform equipment maintenance and inventory management.
