Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join the MAIN OR at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. The role focuses on scrub duties within 22 operating rooms serving Neuro/ENT, General, and Orthopedics.

A current WI RN license and BLS are required, with perioperative experience preferred. You will support preoperative prep, intraoperative assistance, and equipment management while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in WI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous perioperative nursing or surgical tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative preparation and sterile field setup for procedures.
• Provide intraoperative support, pass instruments, and assist as needed.
• Set up and maintain surgical equipment and environment, ensuring sterility.
