UAB Medicine is seeking an experienced Operating Room nurse for full-time days at UAB St Vincent's St. Clair. The role involves scrub and circulating duties, assisting surgeons, and pre/post care in a fast-paced operative setting.

Formación

• Active RN licensure in Alabama at time of hire.
• BLS provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months OR experience highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub functions including instrument and supply handling used during procedures.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring patient condition and managing overall nursing care.
• Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure.
• Prepare operating rooms and instruments and equipment for use.
