Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Operating Room Scheduler Manager to plan, direct, and oversee the daily OR schedule. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing and support staff to ensure timely starts and optimal case flow in a high-demand perioperative environment.

The role requires a BSN, MA RN license, CNOR and BLS/CPR certifications, plus a minimum of three years of OR experience and demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• CNOR and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Construct assignments with OR Service Group Managers per patient and surgeon requirements.
• Monitor on-time starts for elective and urgent cases.
• Maintain daily elective schedule and address schedule access.
• Review future schedules and coordinate with managers and anesthesiologists.
