Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas seeks a Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in a fast-paced setting. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and document progress in the EMR while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in nursing, current RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in nursing (RN) required.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on physical, emotional, and social health status.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings, setting goals and outlining interventions.
Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary and documenting progress in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient care issues and ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
