Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our teams on a PRN schedule, Day shift. You will assess patients across medical, surgical, and psychosocial dimensions, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team.

You must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, hold RN licensure and BLS, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensure as RN is required and BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across multiple factors and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff and document care activities and outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed; support care team.
