Job summary

Typical shifts are 0630-1500 and care delivery follows the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year of OR experience with scrubbing and circulating preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum one year in the OR; scrub and circulation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Assess and address patient needs; document and report findings clearly.
• Ensure proper verification of patient identification and surgical site.
• Communicate with team to provide continuity of care and patient safety.
