Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Internal applicants: one year of recent related clinical experience.
• External applicants: two years of recent related clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting for patients undergoing procedures.
• Perform scrub functions including selection and handling of instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring patient condition and coordinating care during surgery.
• Prepare the OR, instruments and equipment for use.
