Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• Internal applicants: one year of related clinical experience.
• External applicants: two years of related clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting for surgical patients.
• Perform scrub functions: instruments and supplies handling.
• Perform circulating functions: monitor and communicate patient condition.
• Prepare OR, instruments and equipment for use.
