Job summary

Greater Regional Health seeks a casual OR RN to support patient care throughout the surgical experience, including admission, recovery, post-op, and discharge. Duties may include circulating and scrubbing in, depending on needs and staff preferences.

Preferred candidates hold an RN license or have surgery experience; BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required or obtainable after hire. This position offers benefits and supports NHSC loan repayment programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during the surgical experience from admission to discharge.
• Circulating and/or scrubbing in based on departmental needs.
• Assist with ordering, restocking, preparation, and cleaning as required.

Greater Regional Health is currently hiring for a casual OR RN! Duties may include providing patient care for the duration of their surgical experience which encompasses admission, recovery room, post-op, and discharge. Within the OR role, duties may also include circulating and/or scrubbing and will be determined according to departmental needs as well as staff preferences.

Skills and Functions:

• Working in a fast paced team-style environment is vital to this role
• OR role may involve circulating or scrubbing in
• Other duties include ordering, restocking, preparation, and cleaning
• Good communication and critical thinking skills

Current RN license and/or surgery experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to ensure your confidence and success in this role. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required but can be obtained after hire.
