Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room on a SEASONALbasis. The role involves 40 hours per week with day shifts, potential overtime, and shifts across the OR as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care.
• Previous OR experience
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (current upon hire)
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Cross train and float to meet facility needs; perform on-call duties as required.
• Contribute to Patient Centered Care and maintain Service Excellence standards.
