Job summary

OrthoVirginia Inc. is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic surgery center.

You will work alongside orthopedic surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teammates, delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care throughout the surgical experience. No nights, no weekends, and no call are part of this role. Eligible candidates should have OR nursing experience and a current RN license.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Operating Room nursing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and surgical procedures.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred where applicable.
• Orthopedic surgery and ASC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulating surgical cases in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic surgery center.
• Preparing operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Verifying patient identity, surgical site, and procedure per safety protocols.
