UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA, seeks an Operating Room RN for the Outpatient Surgery Center to provide perioperative care in a fast-paced environment across multiple specialties. The facility handles 50-60 cases daily in a 12-operating-room setting located near UVA Medical Center.

Ideal candidates bring OR experience across general, gynecologic, urology, plastics, ENT, orthopedics, and robotic surgery, with the ability to scrub and circulate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred within 5 years.
• 1 year of relevant OR nursing experience preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to practice.

Responsibilities

• Function in both scrub and circulating nurse roles across perioperative services.
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical experience.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Support a high-volume ambulatory surgery program across multiple specialty service lines.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities to expand clinical expertise.
