Job summary

Homeland LLC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN), Operating Room in Hickory, NC to support a high-acuity, multi-specialty surgical environment. You will circulate, maintain sterile field, coordinate intraoperative care, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates must hold NC RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred. At least one year of clinical nursing experience with OR exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license or compact/multistate license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Prior Operating Room (OR) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
• Maintain the sterile field and follow all surgical protocols.
• Coordinate and support patient care throughout intraoperative phases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure smooth case flow.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and changes to the care team.
• Assist with operating room turnover to support efficiency and readiness for subsequent cases.
• Adapt to a wide range of surgical specialties and case complexities.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
