Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Network Float Pool. The role floats to 3+ campuses, with day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8–10 hour shifts. A minimum of 2 years' RN experience in an OR setting is required. A new hire sign-on bonus is available.

The RN follows ANA standards and codes, records history, administers medications, and helps with planning, evaluation, and patient education. Collaboration with the care team is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required/ BSN within 60 months of hire.
• Diploma/ADN hires must complete BSN within 60 months of hire.
• BSN preferred for nursing leadership and stroke programs.

Responsibilities

• The RN provides patient care guided by ANA Standards and Code of Ethics.
• Records medical history, administers treatments and medications, and supports patient rehab.
• Develops and contributes to care plans; ensures safe IV therapy and medication administration.
• Precepts new staff and students, and supports ongoing clinical knowledge improvement.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care quality.

Education

Associates or Diploma in Nursing. All staff who have direct responsibility for the care of stroke patients, please refer to the addendum for stroke specific education requirements - PRIOR TO START

All Diploma and ADN hires must Complete a BSN within 60 months of hire
