Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an OR RN for MMC Southern Campus in New Jersey. The role is part of the Operating Room team, with day shifts and an hourly pay range. The RN will scrub and circulate, assess patients, administer care, and document in EPIC EMR. NJ RN license and BLS are required; one year OR experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred, with on-call commitments.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates in the OR; works with a dynamic team.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments with clinical judgment.
• Document in EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and ensure safe transitions.
