Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Must pass medication test.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Perform scrub functions and assist with instrument handling as experience allows.
• Directly assist the operating physician with hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure.
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
