Overview

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Travel Nursing Opportunity in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This 13-week assignment offers perioperative care in a Joint Commission Accredited, 171-bed community hospital and Level III Trauma Center.

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 | Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 – December 22, 2025) | Shift: 06:30 AM – 2:30 PM (8 Hour Days) | Hours per Week: 40 | Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310 | Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract) | Facility: Joint Commission Accredited, 171-bed community hospital, Level III Trauma Center | Weekend/Call: Weekend coverage with a call team; call requirements vary | Float: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Assist with surgical procedures: total hip, knee, shoulder replacements, spine and neuro surgeries, robotic-assisted cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EHR
• Participate in call rotation and respond to emergent surgical needs
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered operating room environment

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS certification (additional healthcare certifications may be required)
• Experience with surgical cases: total joints, spine, neuro, robotics, OB/GYN, urology, general surgery, plastics
• Familiarity with DaVinci XI robotics and Meditech EHR preferred
• Ability to take call as scheduled and float as needed
