Job summary

Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center is seeking an Operating Room Staff Nurse to provide safe, effective perioperative care under limited supervision. You will lead as a patient advocate, collaborate with the care team, and address diverse patient needs in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification and ACLS and PALS certificate or completed within 6 months of hire.
• Two years OR experience preferred.
• Previous experience in critical care unit and/ or PACU preferred.
• CNOR status preferred.

Job description

Under limited supervision employs the AORN Standards of Perioperative Nursing Practice to
ensure the delivery of safe and effective nursing care for patients in the operating room.
Demonstrates leadership as the patient advocate, works collaboratively with all members of
the health care team, the patient/significant others to provide personalized care that
encompasses the psychological, physical, emotional, and age-specific needs of the
patient/significant others. The Operating Room Staff Nurse will adhere to the principles,
philosophy and mission of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in all aspects of job
performance.

Qualifications:
