Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, AZ is seeking a PACU/Out Patient Staff Nurse to deliver safe, individualized peri-anesthesia care under limited supervision, collaborating with the care team and involving patients and families.
The role emphasizes leadership as patient advocate, adherence to ASPAN and center standards, and compassionate care across age groups; requires AZ RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS, and at least one year in critical care (PACU/ICU/ER).
Under limited supervision the PACU/Out Patient Staff Nurse employs the Standards of
Practice as defined by the American Society of Peri-Anesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) and other
professional organizations to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care for patients in the
PACU & Out Patients Unit. Demonstrates leadership as the patient advocate, works
collaboratively with all members of the health care team, the patient/significant others to
provide personalized care that encompasses the psychological, physical, emotional, and agespecific needs of the patient/significant others. The PACU/Out Patient Staff Nurse adheres to
the principles, philosophy and mission of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in all aspects
of job performance.
Minimum one year current experience in a critical care area (PACU, ICU, ER).
