Job summary

Mercy South Operating Room in St. Louis, MO is seeking an RN to provide patient care using the nursing process in the operating room.

You will coordinate with other departments and uphold patient rights and confidentiality, ensuring care aligns with Mercy Service Standards. Requirements include graduation from a nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN), an active RN license in Missouri or a compact state, and BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure as required by state board.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
