Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Manchester, CT. The role involves scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures and admissions to the operative suite.

The position reports to the Nurse Manager and is supervised by the local OR RN. Requirements include CT RN license, BLS, and preferred OR experience in the last three years; health cert and PPD/Chest X-ray as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Documentation and confirmation of OR experience within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS credential.
• Current Health Certificate if applicable.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray on file.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room Nurse scrubbing and/or circulating for operative procedures.
• Assist with department admissions to the operative suite.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
