Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. The role involves promoting the organization's values, assessing patient status during perioperative care, and developing individualized perioperative plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required: nursing degree and state licensure in good standing, with 1 year OR or medical/surgical experience preferred. BLS/ACLS within 90 days; PALS if pediatric care is included; perioperative certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice in good standing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS within 90 days of employment, ACLS within 90 days, PALS if pediatric care is included; perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
