Job summary

Gunnison Valley Health is seeking a clinically competent RN to join the Surgical Services team. The RN will maintain proficiency across pre-op, intra-op and PACU roles as needed, ensuring on-time starts and efficient turnover in the OR.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Colorado RN license, BLS, ACLS within 1 year, and OR experience preferred. Compensation ranges based on experience with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Education : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience : One (1) year of Operating Room Nurse experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certification: Valid Colorado RN license. Maintenance of Current BLS; ACLS certification (within 1 year of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient nursing care in the surgical setting.
• Facilitate OR schedule to support on-time case starts and efficient turnover.
• Coordinate supplies, instruments and equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with patients and families within ethical practice.
