Job summary

Alpine Surgery Center in Gunnison, CO is seeking a clinically competent Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Services team. The OR RN will plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the operating room, coordinate supplies and equipment, and help ensure on-time case starts and smooth turnover.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a Colorado RN license, and current BLS; ACLS within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: One year of Operating Room Nurse experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certification: Colorado RN license; BLS current; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, execute and evaluate patient care in the OR.
• Facilitate case starts and turnover; coordinate supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical team, patients and families; uphold safety and standards.
