Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Perioperative Tech on a per diem basis in the operating room. The role supports admissions, transfers and discharges, and helps prepare beds for surgical patients, emergencies, or transfers.

You will follow infection control protocols, PPE usage, and assist with patient positioning under RN/MD direction. Minimum two years of general medical experience and a current BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent general medical experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Prepare beds for receiving admissions, returning surgical patients, transfers or emergencies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respond to questions or needs promptly.
• Adhere to patient safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
• Assist with positioning and transfer of patients in the OR under direction of RN/MD.
