Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking staff to support operating room and patient care preparation tasks. The role includes cleaning OR suites between procedures, assisting with equipment delivery, and maintaining staff lounge spaces in collaboration with Environmental Services.

Strong organizational and communication skills are required, along with High School graduation. BLS certification is mandatory. This is a day-shift, full-time position at a Colorado facility.

Responsibilities

• Cleans operating room suites or procedure rooms between cases and assists with terminal cleaning as requested.
• Performs timely delivery and pickup of supplies, records, x-rays, orders, and equipment as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of lounge and changing rooms in collaboration with Environmental Services.
• Cleans storage areas and stocks supplies such as scrub brushes, masks, shoe covers, hats, cleaning supplies, and garbage bags.
• Assists in patient care preparation, including completing pre-op checklists, shaving surgical sites, and performing betadine scrubs.
