Job summary

GHR Healthcare invites a Travel Cardiovascular Perfusionist to Fargo, ND to support adult cardiac surgery in a Level I trauma center. You will assist with CPB, CABG, valve procedures, and TAVR in a two-OR cardiovascular suite with access to a robotic room.

Join a collaborative cardiovascular operating room team as a Travel Cardiovascular Perfusionist in Fargo, ND. Support complex adult cardiac surgery, cardiopulmonary bypass, CABG, valve procedures, and TAVR in an acute care, Level I trauma setting while working alongside experienced cardiovascular surgeons and perfusion professionals. Travel Perfusionist Job Details

• Job Title: Cardiovascular Perfusionist
• Location: Fargo, North Dakota
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,660 - $6,080
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 15, 2027
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Call Requirement: One weekday night per week and every other or every third weekend
• Operating Room Schedule: Weekday first cases begin at approximately 7:30 a.m.
• Clinical Setting: Cardiovascular operating room with two OR rooms, access to a robotic room, and a hybrid catheterization laboratory for adult TAVR procedures
• Orientation: One-on-one orientation with an experienced perfusionist

Cardiovascular Perfusionist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent cardiovascular perfusion experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability and willingness to participate in the required call rotation
• ABCP certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is preferred but not required
• North Dakota perfusion licensure is not required for this travel perfusion opportunity
• Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements approximately 3-4 weeks before the anticipated start date
• Provide perfusion support for on-pump and off-pump coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) procedures
• Support valve replacement surgeries and adult transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures
• Operate and monitor perfusion equipment, including Spectrum pumps
• Complete accurate clinical documentation using EPIC and the Viper documentation system
• Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons and perfusionists to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Provide coverage in an additional surgical location when qualified to support HIPEC procedures
• Follow all required clinical, credentialing, safety, and identification procedures
