US Fertility, the nation’s leading network of physician-led fertility centers, is hiring an OR/PACU RN at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland. The position involves weekends (every other Saturday and Sunday) from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with compensation ranging from $38 to $46 per hour, depending on experience.

In this role you will perform preoperative assessments, support anesthesia care, administer IV medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a nationwide team of

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland.

• Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday; between 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Compensation: $38 to $46 per hour (commensurate with experience)
