Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN for a part-time float role serving the San Ramon and Menlo Park sites. You will cover weekends, with shifts 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and respond to patient needs across our San Ramon and Bay Area offices.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2–3 years operating room or PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills and create patient care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment and outline surgery phases.
• Provide comfort and psychological support to patient and family.
• Care for patients under various anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications intravenously and via other routes.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN Part-Time (Float)to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. This position will float between our San Ramon and Menlo Park, California offices.

• Schedule: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; rotating weekends and holidays
• Compensation:$71 to $77 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the OR/PACU RN will:

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
