Job summary

US Fertility, the nationwide network of physician-led fertility centers, seeks an OR/PACU RN for a part-time float role serving the San Ramon and Menlo Park offices. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with two holidays per year, and compensation ranging from $70 to $77 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2–3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Proficient with computers and charting
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and plan care.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment and develop a care plan for surgery.
• Provide comfort and psychological support to patient and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients with various anesthesia types or sedation.
• Administer medications by IV and other routes as directed
