Job summary

US Fertility in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves preoperative assessments, perioperative care, and postoperative support, with a schedule Monday–Friday and some weekend/holiday rotations.

Compensation ranges from $65 to $70 per hour, commensurate with experience, and the position offers opportunities to grow within a nationally respected organization across a network of fertility centers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2–3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU strongly preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administrar medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
• Provide patient education
