Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current valid state nursing license required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days.
• Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to access and enter clinical data using a computer.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluates care effectiveness of other direct care givers.
• Demonstrates professional accountability and Mercy Service Standards.
• Assists with port draws, labs, and rooming in clinic.
