Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN to provide patient care using the nursing process and to maintain accountability for care delivered to assigned patients. You will coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy Service Standards.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current state RN license are required; CPR certification or completion within 90 days is expected. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be current state RN licensed.
• CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in Oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in all interactions.
• Performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
